| California based Amaret Records was founded in 1968. It took its name from its parent company, the American Association of Recorded Talent. Though the bulk of the imprint's releases were from Minnesota's hard-rock quintet Crow, the handful of other artists signed to the label had a distinct popular market focus. Amaret went bankrupt in 1973. | ||
