The off shoot to the American label releasing material from there by Astor. In Melbourne most of the Colpix records ended up in department store bargain bins along with the Twin Hits and Red Bird records selling cheaply. You had to rummage through it as the bin was deep and they were just “thrown” in. A few other labels suffered the same fate whenever Astor decided to clear it’s warehouse. They off loaded boxes of excess records to the stores to be gotten rid of. |
