Crest Records was a Melbourne based independent label, started operating in 1961. The company was recording all sorts of music from Jazz to Jewish and everything in between. Crest was owned and operated by Marcus Herman, who also co-owned Planet Records and its subsidiary Galaxy Records with Bob Crawford.
