| Disneyland
Records had a short life as a “pop” label. The Australian arm of the Walt
Disney Corporation (Buena Vista Records), releasing records from “Mousketeers”
such as Annette (Funicello)(all of hers), Darlene Gillespie, Hayley Mills,
soundtracks and a few others as singles & albums. The pop series lasted
to 1962 when the label reverted to children’s records with story books
as part of the package and story records (LP’s & EP’s introducing Classical
music) and kids sing a long albums (mostly cheapies) which lasted well
into the 70’s.
