During the early 70’s the Columbia label disappeared and releases on HMV & Parlophone started tapering off and their artists started appearing on the “new” EMI label. Possibly an edict from the home office in England.
EMI (Australia) also recorded local acts on the EMI label.

There were some off-shoots to the label, being EMI International, America, USA & Manhattan, these were separate companies overseas, but “lumped” into the one company in Australia.
