The Australian subsidiary of the English label, started out in Australia around 1966 as a logo appearing on Stateside releases.
1968 saw the release of Lazy Sunday by the Small Faces on the purple Immediate label issued by EMI with its Spartan black & white sleeve. There were a few releases on the label before it disappeared about a couple of years later.
The label re-appeared in 1976, this time issued by Festival with re-issues of previous material.
