Jet Records was set up by UK producer/manager Don Arden in 1974. The label signed artists like Electric Light Orchestra (managed by Arden), Roy Wood, Ozzy Osbourne, Riot and Magnum.
In Australia, the label started in 1976 as a logo on Polydor and Festival’s UA labels. In 1978 the label came out in its own right issued by CBS using the UK label design and sleeve.
