Tempo Record Sales (TRS)  was established in Melbourne in 1967 by Keith Colias & John McDonald. The company was distributing local and overseas labels during the late 60’s. The Tempo label was launched in 1969 with it’s debut single “The Hunter” by San Franciscan band “PacificGas & Electric” from US “Bright Orange” records. Before going out of business, Tempo released 9 singles.
In 1972, TRS started a far more successful label, Image Records.
