A small localized record company based in Warrnambool on the South East coast of Victoria about 300 kms from Melbourne. Had been around since the early 1960’s and produced quite a few EPs, albums and singles in it’s time. Nearly all artists were from local surrounds and recording mainly country, folk and religious music.
The company (Warrnambool Recording Enterprises) took its name from the popular tourist attraction “Tower Hill” just West of Warrnambool.
There was another company from this region, WDR (Western District Recorders). Their records had no company sleeve.
