Label discontinued
American Coral Records was a Decca Records subsidiary formed in 1949. 
Coral's Artists & Repertoire manager Bob Thiele would marry the label's artist Teresa Brewer. 
US Decca Records merged with MCA in 1962, becoming a subsidiary company under MCA Records. 
MCA shut down Coral in 1970.
In Germany, Coral was handeled by Deutsche Grammophon until 1964.  Teldec took over late in 1966.
