Brødrene
Johnsen A/S had the Norwegian agency from 1904. Solveig Johnsen was Head
of the gramophone department. Folketeateret in Oslo was the recording location
until the outbreak of war in 1940.
In April 1955, the agency was taken over by ABG (Anders Backer Grøndahl's Grammofonselskap). ABG ceased towards the end of 1956. From February 1st. 1957, the label was distributed by Iversen & Frogh A/S (later Carl M. Iversen A/S) until 1968. Here is a (very incomplete) discography for the Norwegian recodings. |
