Riviera had previously started Stiff Records
along with Dave Robinson and Nick Lowe. After falling out with the
co-founders of Stiff, Riviera started Radar
Records along with Andrew Lauder and Elvis Costello. When
Radar folded in 1980, Riviera started F-Beat
and Demon Records.
Demon was acquired by Crimson Productions in 1998, was merged with Westside Records, and is now known as Demon Music Group. |
