Billboard 30.06.1979: Lorimar Records has joined the CBS family of labels. Billboard 14.07.1979: Jay Levy now the president of Lorimar productions and General Manager of Lorimar Records. Billboard 20.10.1979: One of the largest independent producers of films and TV dramas has entered into a label deal with Columbia. Lorimar productions´ first releases are soundtracks, first single from the movie "Americathon" by Eddie Money > "Get a move on" - hit the Billboard charts in 08/1979 on Columbia 11064. Jay Levy says Lorimar Records won´t sign no more than 6 new acts to the label. Billboard 15.12.1979: "The fish that saved Pittsburgh" LP SZ 36303 was released in 11/1979.
