Thunderbird Records was owned by Steve Brodie´s Master Releasing Inc.
Dale McBride signed with Steve Brodie in 1970, had a country hit with Corpus Christi Wind in 1971 and formed his own label WMI Records (distr. By CON BRIO) in summer of 1979.  Steve Brodie a longtime music-business man teamed with partner Leonard Silver and running BEST Records Distr./ GOLD Distr. Co. and TRANSCONTINENT Record Sales Inc. In Buffalo, N.Y. between 1958 and 1973.
Original Gold released tracks with connections to Steve Brodie only, tracks he had produced, i.e. (Wild Weekend/ The Rhythm Rockers) or just artists from his roster (Dale McBride). Seems Steve Brodie run out of Old Gold.  In January 1973, Len Silver bought out Steve Brodie and formed AMHERST Records.
Steve Brodie died of a heart attack on March 15, 2004 in California, age 77.
