Records was started in mid 1955 and owned by businessman Paul Landwehr
(president), Lalo Guerrero (vice president/A&R - formerly with
RCA-Victor) and recording engineer Jimmy Jones.
08/55: 148 N. Pasadena Ave., Pasadena. CA. 01/56: 1486 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Pasadena, CA. The 200 series was possibly included in the deal between Paul Landwehr and Mike Kestler of Discos Columbia de Mexico (late 1955), giving the rights to sell Real´s latin wax in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. |
