| Originally formed in the United States as a subsidary of Kassner's President Records, Seville had its first big success with teenage pop singer Marcie Blane. The label would open an office in the UK in the mid 1960s which would ultimately become the center of its operations and the label increasingly took on a Soul focus in 1974. | |
