1970, Columbia started a production & distribution deal with producer
David Briggs and attorney Art Linson and formed SPINDIZZY Records with
Art Linson as President. David Briggs announced he will produce Nils Lofgren,
Neil Young, Tom Rush and Spirit. They also signed Jerry Williams in 1971
and Kathi McDonald in 1972.
In Sep 1973, Nils Lofgren with GRIN left Spindizzy and signed with A&M. After 7 singles this was the end of Spindizzy 45s. |
